CHS Foundation to award $35,000 to safety and basic needs nonprofit organizations

The CHS Foundation is accepting nominations for grants to support safety and basic needs in rural American communities.

The CHS Foundation will award $35,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations in 18 states to implement safety or basic needs projects in rural communities. Projects such as purchasing grain bin safety equipment, improving ambulance services, filling local food shelves, enhancing access to local healthcare and more will be considered for funding.

The top three finalists will travel all-expenses-paid to the CHS Annual Meeting Dec. 5-6, 2024, in Minneapolis, Minn., to present their ideas to a live audience. CHS Annual Meeting attendees will cast their votes to determine the first-, second- and third -place grant winners.

Written and video nominations will be accepted until Sept. 1, 2024. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply.
