CHS has launched a new podcast to help raise awareness of our role in the cooperative system.

Through interviews with people inside and outside of CHS, each episode of It Takes a Co-op™ will demonstrate the value in connecting with CHS and the cooperative system.

“Podcasts are becoming a staple for our ag and energy audiences throughout their day,” says Malissa Fritz, vice president of communications, and host of It Takes a Co-op. “Launching a podcast aligns perfectly with our goal to engage listeners in a more dynamic and accessible way.

“We’re excited to bring our listeners a diverse lineup of CHS employees, experts, owners and partners each month. This approach will not only highlight the collaborative spirit of CHS, but also deepen our connection with our audience by showcasing the stories and expertise that drive our cooperative forward.”

The first episode, now available, is titled "The impact of the cooperative system." It features conversations with CHS Board of Directors Chair Dan Schurr and Shannon Forster, who manages her family's farm in Aitkin, Minn., and is a co-op owner who has represented fellow CHS owners at the company’s annual meeting.

Follow It Takes a Co-op and listen to it on podcast apps, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or via the CHS website. Most episodes also will have a video version on the CHS YouTube channel.
